In the beginning I was so against it, it wasn 't even funny. But that soon changed. At Althoff my grades were struggling horribly, but it wasn 't me needless to say. It was not an instance where the student just wasn’t giving effort, or they just didn’t do their homework. I did my homework every single night and studied my ass off every opportunity I had, but it still wasn’t enough. Midway through the year me and a really close friend were accused of cheating on homework, ironic because I didn’t know you could cheat on homework considering the fact that it was meant to be done at home. Turns out that one problem we worked together was so completely wrong and not even in the ballpark that it was enough to accuse us of cheating. Then came the meeting with us two students, our parents, the teacher, and the principal. We were told we were accused of cheating and that we were being placed on probation for the rest of our “Careers” at althoff, the next three years. Being placed on probation at Althoff meant that you must maintain at least a 3.0 G.P.A, have no referrals, and no issues inside or outside of class, and failure to maintain those would result in a dismissal from Althoff for the rest of your high school
