Florida International University has an honor code concerning cheating, which must be followed. Those rules should not be violated. Students have to be honest in academic matters. A student who does not do her his own work or gains an unfair advantage over his or her colleagues is guilty of cheating. Examples of cheating are submitting the work of another person as their own, copying from another student’s work, plagiarism, and among other academic dishonesty that are unacceptable. My school is very strict when it comes to those rules concerning cheating. Student should be aware of the honor code established by the university.
