The purpose of this study is to examine and test cell phone dependents in relationship with college students. Decades ago people used to pass handwritten letters around to others. Now we use cell phones for that. There are 92% of college students who use their cell phone devices during school or work. Cell phones are also used to call, send instant messages, play games, and now surf the web at the light of speed. . They inform, entertain, and connect us to the outside world. They are used all over the world, and without them the world would be clueless. College students depend on their mobile phones for many things. They connect them with their families and friends when they far away from them. No longer do they have to use a calculator, because it is automatically setup in their settings. Students can search most questions on the internet and receive answers instantly. Mobile devices are growing rapidly, and are used constantly on campuses. Do college students depend on their cell phones to help with their learning performances?

I am measuring the impacts of cell phone use of college students. This generation is rapidly increasing with the use of cell phones, and they are becoming the most popular technology for consumers. In order to measure cell phone dependents for college students we have to take the appropriate steps to understand how and why students depend on them. This research has explained the understanding the history, good, and the bad of cell phone dependents in learning settings. Based on this research, I do believe college students depend on their cell phone to help with their learning performances.
