Lack Car Parking In The United States

Nowadays it is difficult to live in big cities without using the transport. It is well-known fact that in metropolises the transportation system is developed well. In almost every big city there are a buses, metro, taxes and great number of personal cars. The fast enlargement of citizens leads to increasing number of cars. Thus, statistic, provided The World Bank, says that the number of motor vehicles per 1000 people in 2011 in the USA was 786, whereas the year earlier it was 782. In Kazakhstan the difference in number of cars per 1000 people is more apprehensive, so in 2011 – 246 cars, however in 2010 the quantity was 219. According to the Department of Internal Affairs of Almaty, the violation of the rules of a parking "promotes formation of spontaneous parking, traffic jams on large highways and in the city in general". (Nur.kz, 2010) When run late worker can not find the free one, he/she parks in any convenient place, sometimes it causes traffic jams and accidents, since cars parked in unlaid places stem the passage of other vehicles. Additionally, it is the main reason of spontaneous parking. Some of these car parks are paid and in most cases the administration of these illegal parking zones do not have special agreement, which allows them to take money. «Today, a great number of complaints about the unfair relation to this kind of activity recieves the administration of Almaty» , - told the head of department of management of natural resources and regulation of environmental management Alisher Satybaldiyev (Nur.kz, 2013) Notwithstanding, that recently the Kazakhstan's governments accepted the law of “Road Traffic”, which prohibits spontaneous parking and parking the car in places, which do not have special sign. The interdiction, which is effective from 20th of October 2014, does not solve the issue, since the infrastructure in most cities does not provide enough parking zones. In some devloped countries like the USA, Singapore or Japan there are many multi-storey parkings around the city, especially near the business centers.
