I went to a campus visit there, and it seemed very fake to me, which I can not handle very well. It could have just been the few people that I was in contact with though. I see a much different picture of Milligan on their website than I did when I actually went there. There is a lot to do and seems like a fun campus. There are not supposed to be any drugs or alcohol, which seems to definitely be enforced. There is just something about them though that comes across as fake, which really rubbed me the wrong way. The dorm rooms were very tiny, and each hall shares a bathroom, which I really do not like. The idea of that just does not sound appealing to me at all. The dorms also did not seem to be super nice or sanitary. The outside looked nice, but it was a very different picture on the inside. There are lots of intramurals at Milligan, and students seem to be involved in them. One positive about the environment is that everybody seems to know each other. When I was on my tour, my student guide talked to everyone and knew everyone by name, which is a great sign to see. The students seem to be very close and connected, which is exactly what I want. With 1,200 students also, this is what I like to consider the perfect size. They offer lots of clubs that I would be interested, including an Ultimate Frisbee club. Things …show more content…
The cost of attendance is obviously a large factor, and USI is probably the most affordable option right now, although Grace could very easily become the cheapest. From an academic standpoint, Grace offers exactly what I want, and seems to be very strong in those areas. I could go there and get what I want quickly, and be prepared for multiple careers. From a campus environment perspective, Grace is probably my favorite option too. Their campus looks nice, it is the perfect size, and they offer lots of activities that I would enjoy being a part of. After weighing all of my options and figuring out what is really important to me, Grace College is definitely the place that I would feel most at home, and would set me up for success in life and
