CAPE is the Army’s newest character and ethic building initiative. It is a great resource for Leaders and Soldiers alike. On the website, you can find each program CAPE offers, along with case studies, power point training, informational papers, posters and more. Even though there is no full-proof assessment process, that does not mean we should stop trying. Character of the Army professional is to me the most important part of being a professional Soldier. The character and ethics of the Army take time to be internalized, because the choice is very personal. It will always come at different times for everyone. The human dynamic will always remain.
