“Border Fencing Is Bad Policy” According to Melanie Mason, the author of “Border Fencing Is Bad Policy”, the United States should not build a fence that spans the border of Mexico. The government has been trying to put more barriers between America and severely restrict immigration, but according to Mason, “the border fence is a political band-aid for a larger policy problem.” By using evidence and appealing to human compassion, Mason convinces the reader that a border fence is unnecessary and a small issue covering up a larger one.…

Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. This statement has further brought controversies over immigration because he told his supporters that ‘Mexican will pay’ for the walls. However, pointing Mexico to pay for the border wall is not realistic. According to the article, Debunking Trump’s five extreme statements about immigrants and Mexico, by Dolia Estevez, there is already a wall on the border, which has been irrelevant and Mexico is no threat to the US economy. The research also shows that maintaining the walls after the construction will exceed the price of building the walls. Thereby, building the walls will not help in economically and in foreign relationships.…
