Well, let me tell you why public schools have budgetary issues. The government education budget has stagnated over the years. This means while our military, medicare, and food stamp programs get more and more money from the government, schools are fighting over the same money they have had for years. With the cost of supplies, food, and technology raising at constantly alarming rates, the education budget needs to be given more. The lack of school funding is causing budget cuts in almost every school in America, and these are just the start of the problems that arise with lack of government funding. If you live in a country where your government doesn’t prioritize education, why would the students prioritize education? Students are getting to the point where they are no longer willing to put the effort in if there is no sort of reward to speak of. They are not willing to struggle for something that even our government often overlooks, and by far the worse thing that comes from lack of government funding is school
