Imagine lying in bed, curled up with a good book when all of a sudden your phone starts blowing up with texts. You want to keep reading because your book is at such a good point, but then you stop and check your phone; just in case your crush texted you or your best friend has some hot gossip to tell you. The average American person will roughly send about 32-33 texts a day, although numbers may vary depending on age, according to Text Request.
