This chip is inside the device, and it emits the special Bluetooth radio waves. Before you can connect the two, you have to turn them on. This is done by pressing a button or flipping a switch that is specifically for Bluetooth. The two communication devices connect to a short-range system called a piconet. A piconet is used in the metric system and it means really really small. These Bluetooth connected devices make up a network of piconets. If you ever connect your computer to a keyboard, or mouse over Bluetooth, they have created their very own piconet. All piconets are established automatically. So once you have the device that you’ve already connected once, installed, and in range, it will connect automatically. If not in range the device will leave the piconet. And when you bring it back, it will reconnect …show more content…
When an inquiry is received, the scanning device sends a response with the information needed for the inquiring device to determine and display the nature of the device that has recognized its signal. Bluetooth singles are transmitted by electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation is the same aspect that produces the same light you see. The only difference between the two of them is their frequencies of radiation. Electromagnetic radiation is thought to be traveling through the air, like a wave traveling through the water perhaps. The reason Bluetooth devices operate at low power is to prevent interference with other devices such as mobile phones and WiFi signals, to conserve power in battery-operated devices and because they are typically used within about 10 meters of the
