The language of black culture is what they call black slang. You walk through a predominately black neighborhood all you will hear the common slang. To a white person its broken English and the African American would be watched as if they are uneducated. Nonetheless, when a white person comes along and starts using the same slang, they are not even looked at in a weird way. The slang then is turned into something it’s not meant be and far played out. White people could not cook back in the days; most couldn’t even boil a pot of water without burning it. Now black people know how to throw down in the kitchen. In black culture the food is known to have flavor unlike white people cooking. They try to cook that good old soul food many fail. Back in days while blacks were the primary cooks in white homes the lady of the house would sometimes pose as the cooks of a good soul food meal. White people try to calm old time recipes as their own, look at Paula Deen. AT one point in time she was making a fortune from soul food.
In conclusion we live in America; a society that loves black culture but does not accept black people all too much. I agree completely with this statement because America takes black culture and tries to claim the ideas as its own. Leaving Africans Americans to think they should feel a sense of shameless of their culture. In reality black culture is one of the things that make America great. From exotic beats, dance styles, Bold fashions, to the language all
