Disregarding the small size, West Virginia contains many different biomes spread throughout the state. Some of the biomes I have found is deciduous forest, coniferous forest, grasslands, savanna, tundra, and alpine biomes. Each one has their own average temperatures, typical animals and plants. Towards the northern part of the state there are more harsh temperatures and weather compared to the lower part. The southern part though gets pretty harsh temperatures and weather itself.
You may find deciduous forest around the southern part of West Virginia. This means that you might find temperatures that may range anywhere between 10 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
