Why is America falling away from the original government set-up? Why is there increased strife between the social classes of people and the Federal Government? Big-government is the reason! Big government is defined as a form of government characterized by high taxation, public spending, and centralization of political power. (1) We are falling away from the original government design in view of our government 's fingerprint being too large, with too much control over our countries daily livelihood. Due to this imbalance of power, our laws have become corrupt with no limits on how much power the federal government can impose on its citizens. Instead, we need to stop relying on government health care and rely on private insurances to maintain our health. We need to rediscover the concept of dignified living and dying.
Lastly , gun control is an important topic because guns are the majority of American 's only protection against invasion by the government of other countries or their own government. Especially since the current government is reducing our military. We have a need to be able to protect ourselves and our families and not rely on the government for protection. The Federal Government has been aiming to slowly become a gun-free nation. This is not a good method because one of the most corrupt minds, Adolf Hitler, used this method to take over Germany and leave the citizens helpless against his defenses. We do not want to become defenseless like the citizens of Germany became. They have already succeeded in some states. We need to abolish this thought, that if we take guns away from the people there will be peace, look at Chicago, one of the largest cities in crime, specifically homicides, and guns have been banned since 1982! There will not be peace if guns are taken away because the people who do not follow the law will still possess guns. Consequently, we will be left without
