Being in cheerleading isn’t as easy as people say. Some people even think cheer isn’t a sport but I would beg to differ. Cheerleaders have a high chance of getting just as sweaty, tired, and hurt as you can in other sports. Cheerleaders can’t be afraid to perform in front of people because we have to be loud and proud of our team. Practice gets tough when you have to do painstaking stretches, many difficult jumps, then, depending on the day, stunts or cheers. To begin cheer practice, all us cheerleaders get changed, head to the auxiliary gym, then start to stretch. On a normal day I will sit on the floor and begin to stretch my legs.
