As an Educator it’s always important to lead by example. The amount of energy and passion you bring to class, can ultimately rub off of the student’s and make the classroom a positive experience, and motivate the student to put their full effort in participating in classroom activity and being able to obtain knowledge that they are capable of having. Being an Educator one travels a difficult road. Educators must play a role to being a teacher, counselor, a friend and a motivator as well. Though you are just labeled as a teacher, you are going to have more than one job. I believe that teaching is a long commitment to a personal, emotional and academic goals we want to set for the students. Being able to be the person who can improve …show more content…
Through I value my book smarts that regular classes like English, Science, and Math give you, having the ability to take shop classes, and F.F.A class is something I truly value. Knowing how to weld and do stuff with my hands is something that I can use outside of a classroom environment is something that benefits me. You can’t go wrong with being your own personal handyman around your house, and being able to do stuff on your own also benefits you in the financial department. I look forward teaching the students to their fullest potential and also valuable life lessons. On the other hand, what I bring to the table is hard work and dedication and willingness to lose hours of sleep to put my students in the best possible situation to succeed in life, and also and head up on what they can expect from life. We as educators must know what type of teaching style is best suited for the students and for yourself. Autocratic coaching, Democratic coaching, and Holistic coaching are a few ones one might be able to choose and all are different in their own ways and each has their pros and cons. In my coaching philosophy I would want to incorporate a Holistic type of coaching because it makes me impact the students and hopefully change their lives and turn a boy into a man. Being a great listener and communicator is something that is valuable for being a teacher. One must be very verbal with them. I would want to have meetings with them and show them how I would like to run things and never yell at them and talk to them with respect. In addition, honesty is an underrated trait that most people don’t have now days. Being honest with your plays is extremely important with one 's trust. I wouldn’t want to incorporate dishonesty in my classroom so I would want for them to speak to me nothing but the truth because if they lie once then the next day they might
