Most people believe that being an adult is all about how well you can hide the fact that you are still a kid. To others it 's about raising a family and having bills to pay. When you ask an adult what it is like to be in their shoes, they say "Don 't rush to grow up. Enjoy being a kid because once you are no longer a child you 're going to wish you were one again." According to most adults being an adult is not at all what it seems to be. Here 's what I think. If your road to becoming an adult is good, then your adulthood should be as good. People tend to just want to jump right into adulthood without any knowledge of anything. What they fail to realize is that becoming an adult is how you be the adult. Again, learning something like this at a young age in the long run can be very helpful. Maturity plays a big part into becoming an adult because without it no one is going to take you or anything you say seriously. Some may say maturity is for uptight people but in reality maturity is a trait that people look for in other peopleo an everyday basis. With maturity comes responsibility and with responsibility comes maturity. These 2 things are basically one in the same. Yet they play different but similar roles within the process of becoming an adult. Granted it is good to learn maturity at a young age though, you don 't want to be so mature that you forget how to let your hair down and have some fun. There must always be a balance between the 2.
