When I was at work one day, a lady in the air force came in. I started to chat with her to try to find out what her job was. She told me she was an engineer. When I told her that I was interested in becoming a pilot, she told me she knew plenty of pilots in the air force and she would be happy to set me up with one of her friends so I could get some more information. When I spoke to this man, he gave me an idea of what life is like as a pilot in the air force. What he did was transport cargo all around the world. He leads a crew in order to complete his mission. One problem I see with my decision is that I don’t think my dad would support my career choice at first. He can be sexest and he doesn’t believe that girls should do jobs that men are suppose to do. I think me wanting to be a pilot will go completely against what he wants me to do with my future. Going off that, another barrier would be the fact that I am a female might limit my chances of becoming a pilot. It’s a hard job to get and I think I would have to work extra hard to even have a chance. The last problem I can think of is my physical being. You have to be extremely fit to do well in the air force and right now I am not at that expected
