Being a P.A is learning more about how are bodies work and how do we get better. P.A are primary caretakers that answer questions to patients that are concern of their health also P.As can run tests. The salary and the job security are the other two important parts of being a P.A. Since the job as a P.A is growing throughout the future there is no reason to lose your job and your job is well secured. “The job responsibilities of a Physician Assistant are taking medical histories, examine patients, interpret laboratory diagnostic tests, and x-rays” (www.maine.gov/md/licensure/phsician-assistants.html). A P.A.(Physician Assistant) can do mostly anything like a Physician can but not like a doctor. A Physician Assistant cannot do things like a doctor because A doctor goes to school for about 12 years and has a Doctors degree and also a doctor has more health experiences than a P.A. “ A Physician Assistants spend more time examining patients and answering their questions than Physicians do”. (www.maine.gov/md/licensure/phsician-assistants.html). A P.A. is takes care of the patients while they are waiting for the Physician. It also makes it easy on the Physician because the assistant did all the talking and asking questions and helping them with anything they needed. This is why a Physician Assistant are primary care takers because they work with patient one on one to help them with any question about their condition. Being a P.A. is kind of like being a doctor but you don’t have a doctor’s degree, but you provide care to patients and help them with their problems and the patients are your number one priority. Being a P.A. is not a job that you are going to worry about loosing. The job is growing now in America and patients visit more to Physician Assistant than a Physician. Being a P.A is not a program and once you start working your job is secure and you won’t have a problem with losing your job in the future of your career. “ The Bureau of Labor Statis projects a 38% job growth rate for the profession through 2022.’’(www.explorehealthcareers.org) . The demand for being a P.A is increasing in the future. Being a P.A is getting to be a popular job in the United States and in the future there will still be jobs for a P.A since the growing rate is increases. The job security of being P.A is well secured due to its growth rate and its demand. People wanting to become a P.A can still be in the future and no looking for a another job. Therefore job security is how well your job is ok and not lost and for being a Physician Assistant you won’t have to worry about your job because the growth of this job is increasing now and into the future of America.
