"There's a lot of beautiful girls, but you just have to come in ready to show your best," said Deanna Reali.

The first round was on Sunday, and judges whittled it down to 50 girls. Those women will join the current Patriots cheerleaders for the next round. Judges then select a group to go on to the boot camp round, where they work out, learn routines and practice speaking to the media. After that, the final lucky 28 women are selected.
"It's not just being an amazing dancer...but the total package - poised and energetic and spirited," said judge and former Patriots Cheerleader Amber Koppen.
"It takes a really well-rounded person. Obviously, we are always doing events in the community. Girls that really driven - the schedule can be tough...girls that are talented...and enjoy performing in front of 70,000 fans," said Link.
