a. It is important to listen to them all because, we read the scriptures “faithfully” but we fail to apply them (Chittister page 14). She says that we listen to the poor but we fail to help them. We are listing to the world, but not the rule. We listen to the Gospel but fail to listen to the rule. We say we read the bible, but we do not follow the rules. We sin everyday. I believe that being a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ requires a willingness to listen to listen to the four realities with loving hearts and open minds.

Early in my college experience I feel in to the wrong college culture. In my own opinion I believe that there are two roads in which you will follow in College. One is paved with alcohol, parties, drugs, and dangerous sin. The other is paved with friendship, love, education, and the light. When I first went to college I followed the wrong path for s short while. I was until I found myself in serious danger that I pulled myself off that road and crawled onto the right road. Since I found this road my life has changed completely. I am healthy, loved, found true friend ship and found what is most important, God. When I was on the bad road I turned away from what God wanted me to be. Once I found that good road, God showed me what he wanted me to become. Now I work hard to be all I can be for Him, not
