Employee Personality Evaluation Summary

We were assigned to do a behavioral test in class. This test was meant for employers to determine the type of person they had interest in hiring. This is a good way to get an idea of who you are employing before they are hired. Some positions require a director or a communicator. In order to get an idea of who someone is, behavior test are very useful. We were assigned to take the Employee Personality inventory exercise. This exercise examines what traits the behavior exhibits. It decides what behavior is dominate, the communication style, leadership style, and the strengths and weaknesses of the dominate behavior. I also went ahead and took a few more tests to get a well-rounded opinion of my personality style.

I feel like the director suites me very well. I am hard headed. I need things to be accomplished in a timely fashion. Directors also tend to be short with others, as well as myself. I am a very get to the point kind of person. Although I look back and wish I wasn’t this way, it can come off angry and mean to others. Also I do enjoy being in charge but I sort of disagree when it comes to asking others opinion. The director is seen to not value others opinion, where as I tend to go out of my way to get everyone’s feedback on the decision I am making. I values the strengths of a director. I feel I am very dependable and am able to get a high volume of work completed in time. I feel some questions were easier to answer then others. These test should be taken annually for everyone. It helps realize your strengths and weakness and then to begin continuous improvement on yourself at home and at work. The tests will also help HR, managers, and team members work better together, determine who would work best together, and or who to hire in to help the team work together. Whereas the weaknesses I do agree with all but the tendency to break rules. It is important to understand the weaknesses so you are able to improve on
