I want to give you some insight on how your life will be and on how it will make you the person you will be by the age of 18. You might think you will become the stereotype you are physically. For example, because you are hispanic you might think you will become a stay-at-home mom and never go to college or never be an independent woman who does not need a man to take care of her. Being raised in Texas, you may think you will be a conservative, or be a hillbilly, but you will be nothing like the expected. A major contribution to who you will be is the fact that you will move to America at a young age. You will not know your father but you will have a dad while moving back and forth between your mom and aunt. When you first move to America, …show more content…
In Texas you won't have any cousins to play with 24/7 so you will learn how to have fun by yourself. You will enjoy going to school and making new friends, which are the people you will grow up knowing all the way up to high school. You will enjoy having your mom around even though that living away from her when you were younger will have an effect on how close you will become with her when you are older. You will move back with your aunt that summer and a little for third grade but this time your whole family will came with you. About mid way through third grade you will move back to Texas and stay there. Living in Texas will teach you how different you are from the people here. You are far from being conservative, you believe in people's rights and know how to separate religion from political issues. You and your family will go through very difficult moments, but you will also go through very privileged times. Those difficult moments with play a big part in you being independent, strong and grateful for all that you have.
