Professional Athlete Argumentative Essay

If people want to be a doctor, accountant, lawyer, teacher, etc you need to be able to have the right grades and education to become one! That is only less than 2% of students become professional athletes, and if you don't become a professional athlete what will be your future with bad grades (“Dreaming of becoming a college or professional athlete?” 1). Students should think of there grades before sports, and if you don't have time to finish homework because of sports you can find extra help during school instead of getting a missing or an F in class! Coaches look at students’ GPAs in their classes and make decisions on whether or not to keep students on sports teams or even let them play. The student should be able to get extra help after school and the coaches should be able to allow that because those coaches had to go to school to become coaches and they know what is better for the athlete! Many people have mixed emotions about this topic in general! As you know my opinion is that they need a better education to play on the team! Also, some students might have outside sports that might affect school grades and because of the other stuff they do outside of school, they aren't able to play the sport they want for there school team! In Conclusion, students need passing grades to be able to play for their school team! I had many reasons why from stress to scouts all of the things leading up to your future! You don't know what you will do for your future! The money will be tough if you will not play sports for a living and didn't get a good education for an average paying job!
