I 've had to overcome many personal and financial obstacles along the way and I have found my career choice to be very rewarding.

With me being out an out of district resident I 'm looking at the estimated cost of college to be $14,000 for classes and books. That does not include lab fees, and any other certificate fees that may be needed like first aid, CPR, fingerprinting and background checks. Then there is gas money needed to get me back and forth to school, and personal costs to top it off. After school is completed and I come across the funds to build or occupy a facility I will pay the state an annual license fee of $35, plus $1 for each child I will be able to have in my facility. My staff will also need background checks, fingerprinting and training in first aid, communicable diseases, child abuse and behavior intervention. Additional training will be needed if my facility provides meals, watches children under 24 months or transports children.

As a child care center director I would be in charge of providing training, hiring and supervising my staff. It would also be my responsibility to keep up with state regulations, maintain daily activities, educational plans, policies, fees and budgets. I would need to make sure my facility is cleaned and maintained for the safety of the children. Communication with parents and assisting staff with the kids and parents can be stressful but it is very important. All this would require me to work a full 40 hour week or

Daycare When running a daycare for children two-years-old and under, many considerations must be made in order to provide the appropriate experiences to help promote their biological, cognitive and psychosocial development. One of my primary goals would be to maintain a group of staff members that I have ensured are reliable, extremely trustworthy and planned on working for me for at least a year or two. I want to write you this letter to express my approval of the 10 dollar per day child care plan in British Columbia. In 2016, many families these days are not receiving the financial support that they need in order to raise families in the province, especially in high-cost cities like Vancouver. As a result, only a small percentage (20 percent) of children are currently being raised in a licensed daycare setting (“Child care in Canada,” 2015). As a result, it is difficult to monitor the quality of care that occurs in other settings (i.e. home and private daycare). These other settings often are unregulated, with no safety standards (“$10 per day child care,” 2015).…
