Beards have a significant values in some religions. In Muslim countries it is so common to see a lot of Muslims with beards. Most of them do this to reflect their devotion and faith, as they follow the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad, since beard plays a significant role in Islam. Even old non Muslim Arabians used to raise their beards also as a sign of strength, dignity and respect. The term which is used to depict an old Arabian who raises his beard is Sheik. Beards also considered to be important in Christianity, and some Christians believed that it is a sign of faith and religiosity.
