Inflated Stereotypes

So this past week I had the privilege of spending some quality time with two of my favourite people in the whole wide world. This post is dedicated to two of my best friends Samantha and Ronette. On my journey through life (thus far) I have met bushels of people some good mostly (all) good people. I do not believe that any one person could truly be a bad person. To me some people are labeled as bad people due to one main characteristics. An inflated ego. As an individual I think We need to remember that we are each the star of our own lives. How else could one experience life. What makes for a good person in my opinion is someone who has the ability to assess a situation, perhaps something that affected you in a negative way, and the ability …show more content…
You are going to meet many people in your life. Some people you will instantly like and others - meh - not so much. It's okay not to like everyone. However I think it's each individual's responsibility as a fellow earthling to at least treat everyone with respect. Regardless of your initial dislike or …show more content…
Your belief system and morals won't be respected, appreciated or approved of by everyone - and that's okay. Regardless, try to learn from these situations. And if all else fails be proud of yourself for not judging and at least trying to find some positivity in a seemingly offensive interaction.

4. Just because your opinions, beliefs and or morals differ from someone does not make either of you wrong or right. However you'll certainly find that society dictates social behavior that is acceptable or unacceptable and surely we know what they are - ahem - serial killers for instance.

5. You are on a journey, you have lessons to learn. When the student is ready the teacher shall appear. Don't walk around with tunnel vision, it makes you old. If you think you know everything you will stunt personal growth and you'll be old. Set in your own ways. Rigid and old. Bitter.

6. When you feel down do something for someone else. Not only will it make you forget your sorrow for a while it might and probably will just make someone's day.

7. Smile! Smile a lot. This doesn't come naturally to everyone so practice. Instant boost in likability. And you'll probably look so much prettier.

8. Listen. Most of us were lucky enough to be born with two ears and one mouth. Something that is such a blessing in itself. Listen twice as much as you
