In the hustle and bustle of the modern life, people easily become complacent. They don’t have the motivation to change their current lifestyle, even though people truly know that they are in the midst of an unhealthy life. People have millions of reasons why they do not put their health as their priority. Perhaps People don’t like the place they live and the lifestyle they have, (this does not make sense----such as their own personalities, life skills, dietary habit, and rest schedule. . However, people may never try to change their lifestyle, or even think about how to change. It is difficult to quit bad habits, however, it is never too late to try something new in your life. The study by Phillippa Lally’s team showed that it takes 66 days to create a brand-new routine (Lally 1007). Usually, people who are working alone cannot be successful, and they are easy to quit if nobody supports them. The way to avoid failure from this is to get some partners. Find out the people who have the same goal and create group together. There are many ways to get a partner, such as downloading an App habit create, App in a smartphone to notice, asking people who around them to supervise, joining a group which has the goal to support each other. A partner doesn 't have to live nearby; and it is not too hard to meet people on Facebook groups who share a common interest. People can talk with the support team a few times each week and share experiences with each other. If they live locally, people can meet in person to build the new routine together. I it is a great strategy for people who would like to replace a poor health habits with regular exercise (Scott 59). For example, some people may have a long smoking history. Their body is already addicted to cigarettes. Quitting smoking is not helpful to their health, but the process for quitting smoking is difficult. That is the number one reason most of people don’t want to quit. However, it is never too late to quit anything. While it 's best to quit smoking as early as possible, quitting smoking at any age will enhance the length and quality of one’s life. Smokers will also save money and avoid the hassle of going outside in the cold to smoke. Their success can even inspire those around them to quit smoking as well! They don 't have to do it alone. Telling friends and family that they are trying to quit and enlisting their support will help ease the process. Expert help is available from the American Lung Association and other groups. Friends who also smoke may even join them in trying
