The Importance Of Attending Augustana

Decent Essays
Honestly, I'm not sure why I want to attend Augustana. However, it was one of the few places I visited that struck a chord. The campus was beautiful and the layout of the buildings gave the campus a sense of community, while retaining the individuality. A variety of architectural styles made the buildings stand out, but it all flowed together like a piece of abstract art. Stories of sledding down the hills in the winter and of seeing the plays and art shows students put on provided a sense of community. It sounded as if students had many social events and a variety of clubs. I was also interested in the fact that even if you do not major in a subject you are allowed to use some of those facilities, like practice rooms for music.

Coincidentally the following month my counselor put up a poster with just the name of the college “Bates”.…

But in fact, my experience depicts a quite harrowing and concerning aspect of presidency. In an interwoven city and school, creating close relationships was inevitable.…

One of the main reasons Georgia Tech appealed to me was the sheer amount of resources it had to help students be successful in such an academically rigorous environment. When I visited tech, it was amazing to see how committed the school was to helping the students be successful. Also the fact that Georgia Tech has a Marching band, Concert band and a Chorus is extremely appealing to me as a band and choral student.
