Importance Of Animal Neglect

Improved Essays
Animal neglect is disgustingly abundant nowadays simply because people buy an animal from the pet store that they find appealing, maybe even a parent getting his child a simple fish as an “easy” pet to keep. Let’s say they bought a goldfish and just plopped it into a fishbowl, a few years later they lose interest in it and begin to stop feeding it and cleaning its fishbowl. Some people may also buy an exotic animal like a wolf because they’re “cool” they will just end up caging it or restraining for fear that it will attack them. These neglected animals may end up dead or just “living”, being fed and never getting out of their restraints all their life.

I suggest that the pet owners who truly love their pets release the animals as soon as they can no longer provide for them or as soon as they feel lazy to care for it, in their nearest possible habitat, but they must ensure that it is healthy enough to survive its initial stay at its new home, otherwise it may die before it grows big enough to reproduce and create more biological diversity for that ecosystem. This way their beloved pets may thrive and the owners can easily go there and watch them dominate that certain ecosystem, just like how a parent wants his child to be the absolute best in …show more content…
Sadly, many pet keepers are irresponsible or have no real connection with these animals, leading to animal neglect. If we could just find a way to make these people genuinely love and care for them, but that of course is impossible. Setting them free to their nearest possible habitat or making them useful contributors to our needs are the only ways to make us humans and animals mutually happy. The animals can be free or aid us as pest control or as an energy resource and the owners can still visit and be happy for their pet, all the while increasing the biodiversity of our beloved

Murder Vs Mustache Pets can be a symbol of our childhood or our safety zone, but what if they were taken from us? Although this can be horrific, it is just one situation this kind-hearted man had to face. The Old Man in “The Story of the Old Man Who Made Withered Trees to Flower” had the more difficult conflict to face than Mike in “The Moustache.” The kind-hearted Old Man was taken advantage of again and again by his murdering, thieving neighbor, whereas Mike only had to deal with his grandmother trying to kiss him.…

Well, this is exactly how some animals are being savagely taken from their natural habitat in the wild, just to be used as pets. According to the Humane Society of the United States, “the exotic pet trade is a multi-billion dollar industry and has been around for many years.” These owners make their money by using websites and magazines to advertise these exotic pets such as wild cats, birds, meaning cougars, tigers, macaws, etc. I believe that it is inhumane to take these animals from their natural habitat and use them for our pleasure and our supposed “needs”.…

Exotic pets are often kept in small cages by themselves. This is cruel, says Coppola”(Rainsford 18).
