Imagine being thrown in a cage or beaten up for no exact reason at all or even being force to do something. Humans are physically, emotionally, and mentally torturing animals. Humans burn, cut up and even poison animals. Animal abuse is one of the many important issues out there in the world. Animals should be able to have the rights to receive proper love and care. People in our society need to watch out for animals and to take more responsibility for animal welfare. Also, society should create and organize more animal shelters to help animals be safe. Because animal abuse is so wrong, the government should prevent it from happening and animals should be treated with more dignity. People should watch out for any animals that are abuse by humans to prevent future animal abuse cases. The least thing a person can do is get help when they see someone hurting an animal because the worst thing a person can do is let it happen by ignoring the abuse. The animal abuser should be hold accountable for such a cruel action. “Each year, an estimated 2 million pets are stolen and sold to research facilities” (“Animal Abuse”). People can steal animals and heartlessly abuse or kill them for experiments. Everyone should always keep an eye out for animals. People can make a difference and make the world become a better place for animals. “RSPCA inspectors saw more than 94,130 animals over the course of the year that had been mistreated through a lack of food, water, shelter or medical treatment, or other abuse” (“Animal Abuse”). We need to encourage friends and families to always respect animals and to treat them with more dignity. People should try to raise awareness and to advocate on how to prevent animal abuse. This will be one step closer to help with the safety of animals. This step can greatly benefit the decrease in numbers of animal abuse cases. Others can organize an animal lovers’ club which will guide people to look out for what is consider animal abuse. An animal shelter can provide a home for homeless animals that doesn’t have a home. Shelters can keep animals safe and these homes can prevent abuse. Sometimes animals may fear the approach of a person when all that person want to do is rescue them. The neglect these animals went through is tremendously affecting their trust. To be abuse every day and to deal all that internalize pain by them self is a lot to take in. Take a moment to think about animal abuse and to realize what the negative outcomes can be for these animals that are in pain. Too many animals in a shelter can lead to neglect and high chance of more deaths. Some animals in a shelter may be torture to learn basic tricks and abusive actions is not the key to maintain a happy, fearless, faithful animal.
