The Importance Of An Environmental Environment

I believe that wanting is an environmental issue. We are constantly bombarded by marketing of different industries about their new and better products. As individuals we might want something just because is trending “everybody” have it so I should have it. For example, most people I know have smartphones. The mobile phones were invited in 1973 and released to the public on 1983. These phones had only one purpose which it was having a fast meaning of communication when necessary. Today’s cellphone’s market is extremely wide hence giving the consumer more options on the phones they could buy. For instance, one can buy a basic phone to make calls and send text messages for less than $30 or one can buy a “multiuse” phone one that would even talk to you for over $900. other than food, water, clothing and shelter we need to have a sense of belonging of acceptances of others. We are social creatures therefore we have a need to communicate, interact with others. One can say that we often are seeking approval from others in order to have a sense of belonging. For example, my daughter goes to one of the top colleges in the country. Unlike her peers it wasn’t her ability to pay for her education what got her accepted in the school but with her intelligence she earned a sit there. The majority of the kids at her school clearly belong to a higher socioeconomic status than my daughter. Even thought, my daughter feels comfortable in that environment, I cannot help to notice that often she chooses to buy clothing and accessories that are out of range for her income. All brand name “things” that are trending among the students in her school. She doesn’t want to look any different from her peers and that makes her spend money that she doesn’t really have. I guess that by dressing similarly gives her a sense of belonging to the
