“The fear of being different prevents most people from seeking new ways to solve their problems.” ( Kiyosaki 2016) This quotes means that since most people want to be the same as others they are scared to find a different way to solve their problems. This quotes relates to amendment one and it is important because, if amendment one did not exist humans, would all be the same. People would have the same religion, beliefs, same word choice, and there would be no protests stating what others believe. One of the reasons amendment one is the most important amendment is that without it, people would all be the same. “It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices.” ( Bruce 2015) That means, Congress can not encourage people to have a certain religion. Congress can also not forbid someone from practicing a religion. People can choose any religion they want, or even no religion. An example of this would be: whatever religion I have, Congress can not stop me from going to church or something. If this law was not made, and people did not have the freedom of religion, then a lot of people would be in trouble because everyone believes in their own religion, and some trust their religion more than the laws. Everyone believes in different things that is why having freedom of religion is so important. If everyone had the same religion, everyone would have the same thoughts, words, and knowledge.
