How Accounting Changed My Life

I lost to very close and influential people in my life that I always looked up as they helped guide me in my life and future path. Getting the news that my Grandma had passed away from old age and my Aunt dying from a heart attack is just the worse thing anybody can ever hear, especially if they were your role models and heroes. They were the ones who influenced me to become an accountant and become a CPA, they guided me to taking the right classes in school and what I need to learn and focus on and study. My future goal is to get my bachelor’s degree in accounting and take and pass the CPA exam and work in a big business or tax company. I also know that only 30% of graduates are meeting the requirements to take the CPA test and only about 10% actually take the test and pass. Knowing all that makes me want to study more and even learn more on my own and get extra help and even intern somewhere, so I can get all the knowledge and training to help me pass the test, and get a better job in my field. I believe and know my biggest resource will be my teachers at GCU, I have always been fascinated and attached to the business program you guys offer and I know the teachers will always be there for their students and want them to succeed and do big things in life which is what got my attention the most the way they are dedicated to their students and their education and
