Abortion is one of the pressing matters in this modern world. Most of the people think that abortion is harmless and it is the right of a women to decide about her own life .They feel a women have the right to choose what is good and what is bad for her. However in reality abortion is similar to a murder, taking away someone’s life for our selfish need.It is also considered as a social evil because of the impact which is left on the women who is involved in abortion. The women who undergoes this situation can be effected psychologically and it can result in severe pain and stress in her later life. Moreover we might have lost some Shakespeare’s or Aristotle’s due to the inhuman attitude of women. Secondly, abortion can mean women losing their identity in the society .Though today’s generation are considered to be modern and supports women’s right, yet when a women is found to have had an abortion due to any reason she loses her status in the society and she is considered to be inhuman and heartless which in return can affect the women’s future life. Sometimes the role of the women in the society is demoted and they are found to be rusticated from their community. Thirdly, advocates of abortion also claim that abortion can end or can damage relationships and family life. Many women who abort just because they are not yet ready to rare a child or because they are too young to handle the responsibility can end up drowning in a sea of guilt and shame after an abortion. Besides, the actions and reactions of the partner can also breakdown the intimacy and confidence in a relationship. Whereas the long-term consequences are loss of fertility and increase in miscarriages after abortion. In countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia abortion is considered to be illegal but with the exceptions like if the mother’s life is in danger due to the pregnancy or if the child would be born with deformities . In such cases when a women wants to get an abortion they even go an extra mile and try to use illegal methods to get their work done. They are ready to face anything even to risk their own life.
