The topic I chose is APA formatting. I chose this particular writing skill because this is something that I constantly struggle with. One minute I submit it right and the next minute I don’t. I have contacted the Ashford writing center several times throughout my years at Ashford and to think I would actually get it right for a change, but I still have a constant struggle with my formatting. The resources I found helpful with APA formatting is the in-text citation guide along with citing my resources for the reference page. I anticipate that this particular skill can help me in this course by continuously reading the instructions and guidelines to learning how to format things correctly, even with citing information correctly.
