The trip to Costa Rica was not as easy as visiting Hawaii, but it gave me a new appreciation for diversity and showed me a different side of the world. Do not be too quick to judge and perceive things in a certain way. “When we reject the single story, when we realize that there is never a single story about any single place, we regain a kind of paradise” (Adichie).
The joy of traveling is understanding and appreciating the diversity of people, geography and cultures around the world. I have a wanderlust that gnaws at me and gets more compelling as I get older. Hawaii, the home of white sand beaches, pro surfing, hula dances, and warm weather. If I could move to any region within the United States, I would move to Hawaii with no hesitation. Hawaii contains a prestigious hospital and the opportunity to become a surfer. Both of which of which I have always dreamed of being a part in. Where you can swim in the salty water and take long walks on the beach in the smooth, soft, and cold sand. It’s a place where you can taste the juicy steak and all the tropical flavors filling your empty stomach as you overlook the beach and the joyful tourists having fun on the beach. Where you can wake up every morning to the beautiful beach and turquoise water.…
