Combining nurse leader with advocacy
In terms of my personal and professional accountability, I consider myself as a responsible and accountable nurse toward my work and the patients. It is my strength to have a feeling of proudness for being in a nursing profession, which continuously reinforce me to provide best possible care to the patients. I personally believe that a good nurse should be a hard worker, empathetic, caring, adaptable to various situations, emotionally stable, knowledgeable, excellent communicator and others. Evidence-based practices and other nursing skills through education, training and practices. I always like to search about new research related to nursing practices and health care system, which provides me updated knowledge and practices. I also like to read the health care journals and articles and news, which expands my knowledge towards nursing practices, the scope of nursing and others. In addition, I always participate on online blogs for nurses which is very interesting, motivating and sometimes very useful to promote the nursing practices. In addition, I will maintain the effective communication so that standard of practice can be maintained. Teamwork is very important in the area of health care field, which improves a quality of care, minimizes never events, promote creativity and others. I can discuss about team working in a monthly meeting so that all the staff become aware of the benefits of team working in their personal and professional life. Moreover, teamworking improves the effectiveness and efficiency of nursing practice through shared decision and motivation among team members.
