Best Western Hotels and Resorts has been utilizing virtual reality technology to train their employees, this is how it works: “Employees converse with a virtual avatar, representing the guest, which then responds based on feedback and facial expressions detected by a camera.” (Mest 2016) This is a good way to educate their new employees on how to deal with tough situations and guests because working in a hotel requires good personal skills.
