1. Overall I think our group together did a good job working as a team. Zachary did a great job as the manuscript reader because he was clear when reading and made good eye contact. Even though Billy was reading from his phones, he was probably the best in our team because of his enthusiasm. We did work independently and then came together when we performed. We used google drive to discuss the presentation and to help each other with our own position in the company. Everyone in our group put equal effort in the work and there were no slackers in our group. At times I just hoped all my group member did their part and I was always nervous for them. Zachary had good eye contact and his tone was informative but his hand gestures were a little …show more content…
He also maintained good hand movements to get his point across. He looked confident and helped the confidence to our group. I started my part with confidence because of Billy, but out of now where I blanked out, and because of this, I was nervous throughout my part. My voice was shaky and I was trying hard to get back to my speech but kept messing up. By my body movement you can see I was really nervous and just wanted to get it over with. Alexandra did a great job because she was loud and her tone was clear and precise. She had good hand movement and she definitely help our group. I’m pretty sure I definitely got fired because of my presentation. I was disappoint because I practiced numerous times and memorized the whole speech but when I was in front of the class, after the first sentence I blanked out. I also let my group down and messed up their chance of getting a good …show more content…
This was probably my worst presentation because in the other previous presentations, I was improving by each assignment and I thought this controversy assignment was going to show the greatest improvement but since I blanked out, it turned out to be my worst. I feel like there was a lack of success because when I practiced home in front of my family, I had good eye contact and my tone was energetic but when I presented in front of the class, I couldn’t remember the second point and started getting anxious. What made the sad was I actually tried really hard to practice hard to do my best and end the class with a good grade and a good presentation but I got unlucky. After that, it was a disaster because I kept looking back at the board because I was so scared and knew I was messing up. My eye contact was bad because I was so nervous and my tone and pitch was shaky. I couldn’t believe that happened that time during presentation and felt I got extremely unlucky to black out. Because I knew I was messing up, I was even more nervous and in the end, I got back on track and tried to finish my part to my best abilities. I definitely took away from the group. If I could go back, I would start with a deep breath and a calm state of mind and start my presentation. I wanted you to know, even though the presentation looked like I put no effort to the presentation, I did try hard to make it my best presentation but things didn’t go as

For Week 5, as the one who presented, I will reflect on the presentation from the preparation, presentation and Q&A part. But I will focus on the Q&A part and analyze this experience in detail. I did not choose the topic of presentation until 4 days before it, which turned out that most interesting topics had already been chosen by my classmates. Though time was limited for me to prepare for the presentation, I felt calm and prepared my presentation in an organized way. To evaluate the preparation, the powerpoint could have been elaborated in a better way and more detailed information could have been included if I had started on the preparation early.…

I did well at presenting my speech, eye contact was ok but could give it more, and knew my information. I could increase my eye contact and maybe volunteering myself to go sooner so I could get it done right away. During my speech something unexpected happened, my friend Selena had volunteered to help me play my video and was supposed to go to my power point and show a few pictures I had about my presentation. But I noticed that after my video, I wanted her to go to my power point but instead she just let me present I played the last part of my video for my conclusion and that was it. From my S.H.I.E.L.D. speech, it was very different because it took me longer to do my outline and wasn't ready because I had gotten sick before I had to give my speech.…

What do I think I could have done better? I should have been more confident because I did prepare for this speech as much as I could have. My anxiety was at an all-time high with this speech because I suffer from post concussive disorder, this effects my ability to read and my short term memory. I almost gave up and asked for more time because of my disability which is something that I have never done before. However, my pride wouldn’t let me do it…

It probably could have made my speech better and would have been easier to work on my body language. (3) Repeating words. Since I didn’t have an outline with me on stage, I was basing my entire speech off my memory. When I was giving my presentation, I didn’t realize that I was repeating some words or sentences over and over. For example, “we wanted to visit him.…

Like with anything, it's important to look at the negatives and figure out how to fix them, it's also important to look at the positives and figure out how to retain them. I have three goals for my next presentation and I have figured out how to achieve those goals. My first goal is to maintain good eye contact with my audience and I can do this by being more comfortable with what I need to say. In order to be more comfortable I will need to review and practice what I want to say more often. Another goal is to continue my strength of good organization.…

For my informative speech, I talked about softball. I discussed the importance of gloves, finding the right bat, and the three important things when it comes to swinging the bat. I feel like my speech went pretty well. It could have been better due to the fact that when I presented I had not practiced my speech at all. I had just written out my speech on my notecards that morning before school.…

Everyone in my group deserves the same grade because Camille she took on the task role she made sure that everyone was on task and knew what they were doing. Second, Terrance took on the individual role he would be in his own little world, but he would be researching information for the project. Lastly, Lexi took on the social role she would be the one who talked to everyone. However everyone in the group worked cohesively. I liked how Camille was sort of the secretary she wrote down the ideas and gave her own opinion about them.…

After noticing the speaker’s confidence during the speech, it became clear that his calmness and ability to speak clearly, his ability to refer to his notes and to use the power point at the same time and also his ability to ensure he was the source of the information he was giving made his delivery good. This informative speech could have been improved with more body movement during the transitions and a good eye contact with the…

Although I feel that I did an adequate job on the group project one of the most important skills that I desperately need to improve on is learning to present in front of an audience. We had two assignments this semester that revolved around speaking in front of our class, the first being a speech by ourselves and the second being the group presentation. I am a cheerleader, so being in front of crowds does not bother me but what makes me the most nervous is when I have to speak in front of others by reading something I have written or completed. In the group presentation I was not as nervous since I was not alone in speaking to the class, but on the speech I did I was overcome with anxiety. Being able to talk in front of others is my biggest setback, but I am certain that with enough practice, patience, and preparation I will be able to calmly give a speech over any subject that I am required to do.…

That really disappointed me that I was unable to involve the students during my lecture. Few of the junior students also felt that I should have reviewed the topic material in a clear and concise manner (approximately 87%). Due to lack of time I did rush through my content and wanted to cover all my slides. After receiving the student evaluation form I was surprised that almost 45 students out of 75 were pleased with my presentation. This really surprised me, because more than half of the class was happy with my session.…

Her word choice was carefully picked, precise and clean. Her tone was a calm yet persistent one where one could see how subtle but also determined she was on her work. She would pause just enough to make a clean speech, she didn’t hurry off or seemed nervous in any way which only interested the audience into paying attention to her. However, one may think that she would have an even more effective speech if she would of played with her voice a little more or do some sort of hand gestures. If she would have changed her voice into a stronger one she maybe could have expressed some strong feeling that wasn’t empathy or remorse.…
