They believe in their people and value their knowledge. They respect all and give everyone a chance to speak and voice their opinion. They are constantly educating their people and leading by example. They encourage us to learn from one another and to share knowledge. All of this is examples of servant leadership. They are concerned about what we think and our feedback in many situations. This impacts the overall performance in our organization. The results come from the people within and working closely with all and developing them to better themselves only increases success. I am new to the department and it gave me a chance to see how they lead their people. It allowed me to watch what they believe is the right thing to do. I think I have gained knowledge as well as became more confident in myself and my decision making. I became more aware of our MBM® guiding principles and how to apply them to our daily lives and was able to use the decision making framework in making some decisions. I thank them both for the time they spent with me and allowed me to take part in this new project to reduce transportation and distribution
