I will have to spend at least 7 years of my life receiving an education after graduating from high school, including challenging classes and rigorous late night studying just to have the opportunity to earn the title of “lawyer”. There is no guarantee that I will even get a job that allows me to practice law due to the competitiveness of the field, and even if I were to get a job, I would have to work irregular hours doing stressful work and fighting deadlines.
