Implementation of HR strategy
The implementation process of HR strategy is a key element of business success. By involving Human Resources in discussion of strategic policies, the organization has a better chance of being effective in implementing these policies.
The trailer repair market has lots of competition, Gateway Trailer and Repair will differentiate themselves through their customer service focus. In order to achieve this and give them the competitive advantage the HR strategic plan will focus on the current employees and plan for future growth with developing existing employees and external recruitments.
Selection and Recruitment Employing the right individuals for Gateway Trailer is one of the most important parts of the organization. An effective recruitment and selection process will reduce turnover, and match the right person with the right job skills. Gateway hires a vast array of employees. Their recruitment and selection process will be competitive, and incorporate key core competencies such as customer service, teamwork, communication, trustworthiness and ethics. Telephone pre-screens will be conducted and applicants will be shortlisted for an interview. Panel interviews will be conducted by the hiring manager and human resources. This will ensure the candidate has the appropriate skill set for the job, as well as culture fit for the organization. Gateway Trailers will attempt to interview a minimum of 3 candidates for each job vacancy.…
