Vlad III, or Dracula, his preferred title, was also among those in the streets. However, he was not shopping. Instead, he was inviting people to a feast that would be held at his house. He felt that his feasts were most enjoyable, and many of his guests would agree. In fact, most would simply die just to go to one.
A young merchant by the name of Andrei was heading back home to his children and wife when he was stopped by none other than Dracula himself. He stopped short, knowing that he had stumbled upon the wrong path.
“Greetings, friend. You have been invited to a feast at my house. The real house of the Prince of Wallachia! Do you accept?” Dracula said, smiling deviously, causing his pointed teeth to protrude from his mouth.

Two guards looked up and saw that he was running, and they jumped from their chairs and raised stakes. They rushed to the doorway and blocked Andrei's only chance at escape.
