But he knew for the sake of this country he had to pull the trigger on the deal. Congress was also feeling the effects of the new deal so they passed the emergency banking relief act which gave the president full power of the nation’s finances and foreign exchange of the United States. So FDR gave the ok to have the Federal Reserve to print unlimited amounts of money to reopened banks. The president also created the civilian conservation corps or the CCC. The corps created over 3 million jobs for people who were unskilled in hard labor. The new deal also created the NRA (national recovery administration)
Which was made to help the laborers and the unemployed with immediate relief the. With long range recovery. The new deal created so many cooperation’s and relief systems that were great for creating jobs. But there was one huge thing that no one forgot about and that was the slashing of the U.S military spending. The cut would take 500 million dollars out of the us military spending and that would come back to haunt them. But the deal was also very good for the us economy as I said earlier about creating jobs and cooperation’s but for the people that kept this country free the new deal was awful the deal cut veterans benefits by 50% and those were the people that kept this country
