GMO’s are still used today throughout the world. Farmers are unable to use anything but GMO’s now. There is a law for larger farms to own smaller farms and force them to use GMO’s. GMO’s are used in most foods that we consume. This helps us economically, by helping us save money. We spend less money on each individual package of food. Politically, it helps the government from wasting their time with small farms. It is looked down upon socially though, because some people know how bad GMO’s are. There are always people that decide to go against the norm. The more people find out what GMO’s contain the more likely they decide to switch food groups and stray away from GMO’s. Children are no longer allowed to work, until about the age of 14 and they must get approved to work. There are now laws against child labor forbidding anyone from forcing children to work. Now we all have life insurance, so if we get sick or injured at work people are covered and they don’t have to pay for everything themselves. Woman have more rights now but yet are still not equal in pay to men. We have grown a great deal socially, economically, and politically to become the nation we are today. Now the less fortunate are covered if they are sick and have everything covered. The world has changed immensely due to the Industrial Revolution.
