Ever since the dawn of man, people have been making use of the planet’s resources. Since then we 've created new ways to enhance our lives. We have created many helpful inventions such as the telephone, automotives, fashionable clothing, and even medical equipment. There have also been times when, because of our foolishness, we create things designed to hurt people. Most think that these inventions couldn 't be any more different, but they always have one thing in common; they have a hand in what we call global warming. Global warming can be defined as a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth 's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect. This is caused by an increase in pollutants such as carbon dioxide and chlorofluorocarbons, and results in climate change, the melting of polar ice caps, and rising of sea levels. Our

Doing so is very difficult and it can be seen as asking for too much, but with the war on global warming becoming a reality, we need to make some sacrifices in order to slow down what is becoming inevitable. The fuel we burn every day from driving and using electricity is the same fuel that is increasing CO2 levels in the atmosphere, this comes from the fossil fuels we dig up and utilize for our own goals. We’re practically boiling ourselves alive while trying to cool ourselves down. “In order to avoid the worst of dangerous climate change, we must keep carbon in the ground.” This is one of the many ways in which the government can limit and also decrease emissions, but yes, this is a tall order. Nevertheless, we need to own up to our mistakes, fix the problem, and not to abscond from our duties, as some frequently
