Social work is one of the most well-known professions when physically working with people. It is a stimulating career field that is very much linked to psychology. According to one definition of social worker in the book of Introduction to Social Work by Farley Smith Bayle: “It’s a profession that is developed to administer the very large and complex human service system put in place by society’’ (Farley Smith, p.5). Another definition that has been use of social work is the art of science. It plays an important role in refining the lives of individuals and families. Social workers work with people who are experiencing difficulties in eras. The goal for a social worker is to use their knowledge to practice on ways to solve the individual …show more content…
For instance, they get quite a few negative attention from the press (written and spoken) when something dangerously happens in the wrong manner. As a result, the government is requiring more safety measures in place to maintain, support, and develop a stronger and safer work environment. In most cases, some social workers have assistance while at hand with clients. Even though this can be quite dangerous for them both, it doesn 't take away the ability to stay supported. Furthermore, social workers mainly focus on either direct service work, which requires others deal with daily issues, or clinical work, which involves finding and treating mental health issues and some cases behavioral issues as well. While social work certainly has its rewards, it doesn 't only involve bringing about positive change. Back in the old days anyone could call their self-social worker. Now to work as a social work you need to have a least a (B.S.W) which is an undergraduate program in social work and or / social welfare. Social workers are employed in a number of practice setting such as sociology which interested on individual interaction and understand their interactions. It’s particularly concerned about the how, when, and why people behave that type of manner. Next psychiatry has a trend of pay attention on pathology and the curative of illness.
