Nevertheless, internet users should use caution and moderation when accessing the internet and particularly when using social networking sites. Though these sites are useful communication tools, vulnerable individuals can become addicted to certain internet activities, including social networking. More studies are needed to determine the severity and proper diagnosis of social networking addiction. However, there is undeniable evidence supporting this problem is gaining momentum, especially among adolescents. Individuals need to consider living in the present. Face to face communication should hold precedence over social networking in social situations where the individuals are physically present. Though sharing moments with friends and family members is entertaining, it is important to put the technological devices away and enjoy the now. The importance of a moment lies in the moment itself, not in how many likes, comments, or shares that moment
