By doing a more in depth risk assessment, you are able to find positive motivators to help these individuals as well as target the appropriate intervention that is needed, along with positive reinforcements. By providing the necessary and appropriate resources to the offenders, it provides them with the necessary tools that they can utilize to be successful member of society. Many offenders are lacking of a positive influence in their lives, and are in desperate need of obtaining an education, and the basic needs to survive within society. In reality, crime gets their needs met faster than going about it the legal way, so they choose the easy and most damaging
