Playing a musical instrument is a common activity that many people do. Most of the people I have met in my life played an instrument sometime in their life, whether they did it as a young child or are still playing today. I think some people are curious about the impact playing an instrument has on their life. Playing an instrument is something that many people encourage others to do; the question is why do others do that? Playing an instrument requires someone to do so many different tasks at once, especially if you are playing with other people. I want others to understand how our brain works too; the brain is a very fascinating topic that is very complex. I plan on exploring the way our brain works through my inquiry question to get a better understanding about its role. Some related questions that came up while I started my paper are does playing an instrument use the right or left side of the brain, and does playing an instrument affect us emotionally. I am considering touching those two topics in my paper as well, but am not hundred percent sure how I will
